Plumbing in Fountaingrove — rebuilt right, maintained right.
Fountaingrove is largely a rebuilt neighborhood. The 2017 Tubbs Fire took most of the housing stock here, and what stands today is mostly 2019-and-newer construction with current-code plumbing. We work the hillside slopes from Mark West Springs Road through Wikiup, Skyhawk, and the Fountaingrove Country Club area — ZIPs 95403 and 95404.

About this area
Fountaingrove, up close.
Fountaingrove is a hillside neighborhood on the northeast side of Santa Rosa, anchored by the Fountaingrove Country Club and bordered by Skyhawk, Wikiup, and Mark West Springs Road. The 2017 Tubbs Fire destroyed most of the original 1980s–2000s housing stock here; what stands today is mostly 2019-and-newer construction. The terrain is steep, the development has always been premium-positioned, and the rebuild generation is the dominant housing stock now.
Most homes have modern plumbing — PEX-A supply, ABS drain, current-code expansion tanks, and CSST gas that needs to be properly bonded per NFPA 54. The hillside terrain creates challenges flat-lot neighborhoods don't have: long water mains running uphill, pressure regulators set high to compensate, gravity drains requiring careful slope planning, and in lower sections, occasional ejector pumps for fixtures below the main sewer grade. Surviving pre-fire homes typically need pressure-regulator service, water-heater replacement, and the occasional gas-line update.
Common situations
What we see most in Fountaingrove.
- Pressure regulator failures on uphill mains — house pressure spikes high, fixtures fail prematurely
- Tankless water-heater installs in new construction — high demand for whole-house hot water on multi-story homes
- CSST gas bonding verification — we confirm proper bonding on rebuilt homes per NFPA 54
- Ejector pump issues in lower-slope homes — pump failures, float switches, vent line problems
- Hillside sewer slope problems — bellies forming over time as fill settles around the lateral

Response and scheduling.
Fountaingrove is about 30 minutes from our Windsor base. We schedule same-week response in 95403 and 95404, and we are familiar with the rebuild-era spec — current-code expansion tanks, PEX-A manifolds, CSST gas with proper bonding.
Common questions
Fountaingrove questions.
Are post-fire rebuilds plumbed differently?
Yes. Most Fountaingrove rebuilds (2019 and newer) are PEX-A on supply, ABS on drain, with current-code expansion tanks and properly bonded CSST gas. The systems are cleaner to service than older builds, and the warranty paper trail is usually complete.
Do you handle hillside-specific plumbing problems?
Yes. Pressure regulators, ejector pumps, long sewer runs with belly risk, and uphill water mains — these are routine in Fountaingrove and we carry the equipment for them.
Can you check CSST gas bonding on a rebuild?
Yes. NFPA 54 requires CSST to be bonded with a dedicated ground wire. We verify the bond, test continuity, and document it in writing.
